Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Valid North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- North Carolina Teaching Certification
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads highly desired
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across disciplines, with students and families
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized treatment planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students PreK-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
- Engage in parent meetings, IEP reviews, and staff development as needed
