Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners by providing speech and language services onsite in an elementary school setting. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality intervention and support for PreK through 5th-grade students. You'll work closely with a collaborative team, helping children build foundational communication skills that set them up for future success.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP certification with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Active Kansas SLP license
- Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) License
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Strong ability to create individualized education plans and monitor progress
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, families, and fellow professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse elementary caseload
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop targeted treatment plans
- Work with students, teachers, and families to adapt interventions to individual needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to progress reports, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with educational teams to promote generalization of skills in the classroom and beyond
- Engage actively in professional development and continuous learning
