Job Description

This contract position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with assignments available at various elementary, middle, and high schools. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, tailoring your approach to support students unique communication needs.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Florida teacher certification and/or active Florida Department of Health SLP license
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
  • Design and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop strategies that enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team decision-making
  • Serve multiple school sites, with caseload and age group varying by assignment

Additional Information:

  • Start date: August 11, 2026 | End date: May 27, 2027
  • Both full-time (up to 37.5 hours/week) and part-time schedules available
  • Multiple locations can be combined to create full-time assignments
  • On-site position; remote and virtual roles are unavailable
  • Fingerprint clearance required; previous FL district clearance may be transferable
