Job Description

As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with a well-established educational cooperative, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students across a variety of school settings near Emporia, KS. Openings are available for service at any location within the cooperative area, including districts throughout Lyon, Chase, Madison, Hamilton, and Morris Countiesall situated within an hours drive from Emporia.

Qualifications:

  • Active Kansas SLP License (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience providing speech-language services within school-based settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfort working independently across multiple school sites

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapy services to students in PreK-12 environments
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 1012 students per day or up to 5055 across a five-day week
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans in collaboration with teachers and families
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for each student served
  • Consult with educators and parents to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
