Job Description

Desired qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, parents, and students
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools and therapy techniques

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with suspected speech, language, or communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans targeting each students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing updates and making recommendations for services or supports
  • Offer guidance and resources to families to support therapy progress at home
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
