A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support the communication development of students in a school setting located in Lawrenceville, GA. This role provides an excellent chance to work within an educational environment, delivering specialized speech and language services to children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student advancements.
- Provide guidance and training to school staff on speech and language development strategies.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in a school setting with pediatric populations.
- Knowledge of IEP development and special education regulations.
