Working under a contract arrangement, you'll collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to provide essential speech and language services to students. Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desired
- Strong interpersonal, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students' communication goals
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education opportunities within the field
