Job Description

This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position based onsite at an elementary school in Laurens, South Carolina. As an integral part of the schools team, the role involves managing a caseload of approximately 45 students, primarily working within pediatric populations to support their speech and language development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
  • Participate in professional development and adhere to state and ASHA standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License required
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and collaborate effectively

Position Details:

  • Contract role within a school setting
  • Onsite schedule, 35-40 hours per week
  • Location: Laurens, South Carolina
