Qualifications:

• Current and valid Nevada SLP license required
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere
• Flexibility to adapt strategies for diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with a variety of communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine student needs and measure progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Offer guidance and support to classroom teachers and staff regarding communication strategies and interventions
• Participate in professional development and meetings as required
