Key Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Expertise and experience in school-based SLP roles preferred
- Comfortable working with elementary school students
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
- Readiness to participate in a prescreen interview as part of the hiring process
- Must provide candidate zip code to assess commute feasibility
- Prior experience in pediatric or educational settings is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services for elementary-grade students
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Work actively with teachers and parents for optimal student outcomes
- Support a safe, nurturing, and responsive learning environment
- Manage a full-time caseload at one assigned elementary school campus throughout the academic year
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
