Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP in Michigan
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings, preferably with early childhood/preschool populations
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to evidence-based, child-focused therapy approaches

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy for early learning students with diverse speech and language needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to integrate language goals into the classroom environment
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
• Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support student communication at home
• Participate in IEP meetings, child study teams, and other multidisciplinary discussions
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth
