This part-time contract opportunity starts August 18th, 2026, and runs through June 11th, 2027, with a focus in two elementary schools. In this role, youll provide essential support where its needed most, collaborating with a dynamic team in a school-based setting.
Youll work with students across two welcoming elementary buildings, supporting existing SLPs by addressing overflow needs. Your three-day workweek (school hours: 8:44 am 3:40 pm) allows for a strong work-life balance while still making a significant impact.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Proven experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational team
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide therapy to elementary-aged students across two campuses
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students needs
- Maintain organized, up-to-date documentation as required by educational standards
- Collaborate closely with dedicated on-site SLPs and other school professionals
- Foster a positive, compassionate environment to encourage student growth in communication and language skills
