Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA-CCC) required
  • Comfortable working with early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Strong assessment, individualized education plan (IEP), and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other service providers
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans aligned with each students IEP
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions to support students at various developmental stages
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and documentation per school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and recommendations to the educational team
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families on matters related to speech and language development
