Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and certification (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within school settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, speech and language disorders, and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions to address students needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student support
  • Provide resources and strategies to educators and caregivers to reinforce communication goals
