Job Description

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
  • Experience with IEPs and progress documentation in school settings is highly valued
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy goals and strategies
  • Maintain detailed records and participate in IEP meetings as an active team member
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Deliver services individually or in groups, adapting methodologies to meet each student's unique needs
