Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFYs are considered
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including assessments and individualized interventions
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a diverse caseload

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, tracking student progress and adjusting approaches as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation for all services in compliance with state and school guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and advocating for the best interests of students
  • Offer consultation and support to staff for effective classroom communication strategies
