Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Florida SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, CFYs welcome
  • Previous experience in a school environment is a plus
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and therapeutic interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students with varying needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams and families
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions focused on receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, and social communication
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student impact
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
