Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CF) to work with elementary students across multiple school sites in a supportive educational setting near Lancaster, SC. This onsite role spans the full academic year, offering the chance to make a positive impact on approximately 40 students communication and learning skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active ASHA Certificate and South Carolina LLR license
  • Possession of a valid South Carolina Educator Certificate
  • Experience providing speech therapy services in a school-based or pediatric setting
  • Ability to work on-site with elementary school students
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) with appropriate credentials

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy for elementary-aged students, maintaining an active caseload of around 40
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and individualized therapy in accordance with IEPs and school guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with other staff, teachers, and families to support overall student achievement
  • Maintain detailed session notes, progress tracking, and timely paperwork
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning teams
  • Uphold confidentiality, documentation, and ethical guidelines in all interactions
