Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Clinical expertise working with pediatric populations, including PreK, kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school age groups
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Proficiency in a variety of assessment tools and evidence-based interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine students speech and language needs
- Designing and implementing therapy plans tailored to each student
- Supporting students in early childhood, grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Providing direct therapy and consultative services in both individual and group formats
- Developing IEP goals and documenting progress in compliance with school standards
- Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to foster academic and functional communication
- Participating in team meetings and parent conferences as needed
