Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license or eligibility in Washington State
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings
- Comfortable managing caseloads from Pre-K through Grade 12
- Knowledge of evaluation tools and therapeutic interventions for diverse age groups
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Flexibility to collaborate across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic assessments for students with speech and language needs
- Design and carry out evidence-based therapy sessions for individuals and small groups
- Develop, write, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and staff about strategies and student growth
- Support inclusive classroom practices to maximize student participation
- Stay current on best practices in pediatric and school-based SLP services
