Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This onsite, contract opportunity allows you to deliver high-quality speech and language services across the K-12 grade spectrum in a supportive educational environment near Lakewood, WA. You'll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their communication goals and foster positive academic and social outcomes.

What Youll Need to Get Started:

  • Valid Washington SLP licensure, or willingness to obtain it prior to start
  • Completion of fingerprinting through OSPI (or willingness to complete)
  • Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification, or readiness to pursue
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Delivering direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conducting speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address student needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings as required
  • Staying current on best practices and regulatory requirements in school-based speech therapy

This position is full-time, on-site only, with 37.5 hours per week scheduled from September 1, 2026, to June 23, 2027.
