Job Description

Step into an engaging school-based role supporting students from preschool through 12th grade as you provide essential speech-language services for the upcoming 20262027 academic year. This is a full-time contract opportunity, with a manageable K12 caseload (no more than 50 students), and the chance to make an immediate impactinterviews are being scheduled as soon as possible!

What youll bring:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Washington SLP license and ESA Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Credentials as SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY
  • Experience or interest in working with school-aged children (preschoolgrade 12)
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
  • Dedication to compliance with IDEA, WAC, and IEP requirements

Your key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations using both standardized and informal assessments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams for eligibility determination
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), providing direct and indirect therapy
  • Address areas such as articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation for IEPs and service logs
  • Ensure all practices meet state and district compliance guidelines
  • Facilitate consultation and training for school staff
  • Engage parents and caregivers, sharing progress and effective strategies for at-home support
  • Efficiently organize schedules across several schools and grade levels
