Several contract opportunities are available for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists ready to make an immediate impact for the upcoming school year, working with a dedicated team in a supportive educational environment. Full-time, onsite roles serve students across K12 grades, with manageable caseloads and the chance to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary colleagues.
What Youll Bring:
- Active WA State SLP License and ESA Certification
- CCC or CFY credentials recognized
- Experience with preschool12th grade students (or excitement to learn!)
- Strong assessment, evaluation, IEP development, and documentation skills
- Committed to compliance with IDEA, WAC, and district practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Your Role Will Include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for diverse age groups
- Administering and interpreting standardized and informal assessments
- Developing, implementing, and tracking progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Delivering both direct and consultative therapy in articulation, social communication, fluency, and more
- Maintaining precise, timely documentation for IEPs, progress reports, Medicaid billing, and service logs
- Partnering with general and special educators, therapists, administrators, and families
- Consulting with classroom staff and providing professional development to foster inclusive learning
- Managing a caseload (not exceeding 50 students) and smoothly coordinating schedules across several school sites
