Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists interested in collaborating closely with educators, families, and students. Youll help children reach their full communicative potential, whether youre an experienced SLP-CCC or a CFY working toward certification.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or pending state licensure as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CFYs are welcome and encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in school settings a plus, but not required
  • Ability to organize and manage a varied caseload of students
  • Commitment to evidence-based intervention and progress monitoring
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for serving children

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy in individual or small group sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
  • Document student performance and maintain detailed records in compliance with district and federal regulations
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and ongoing professional development
  • Adapt services to diverse student populations and learning abilities
