Job Description

Several contract opportunities are available for enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists ready to make an immediate impact for the upcoming school year, working with a dedicated team in a supportive educational environment. Full-time, onsite roles serve students across K12 grades, with manageable caseloads and the chance to collaborate closely with multidisciplinary colleagues.

What Youll Bring:

  • Active WA State SLP License and ESA Certification
  • CCC or CFY credentials recognized
  • Experience with preschool12th grade students (or excitement to learn!)
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, IEP development, and documentation skills
  • Committed to compliance with IDEA, WAC, and district practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Your Role Will Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for diverse age groups
  • Administering and interpreting standardized and informal assessments
  • Developing, implementing, and tracking progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Delivering both direct and consultative therapy in articulation, social communication, fluency, and more
  • Maintaining precise, timely documentation for IEPs, progress reports, Medicaid billing, and service logs
  • Partnering with general and special educators, therapists, administrators, and families
  • Consulting with classroom staff and providing professional development to foster inclusive learning
  • Managing a caseload (not exceeding 50 students) and smoothly coordinating schedules across several school sites
