Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-5 educational setting. This part-time contract position involves working two days per week during the upcoming school year. The role focuses on managing a caseload of students in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade, providing essential speech and language services to support their academic and communication development.

Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children within the school environment. The clinician will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs. This position may incorporate teletherapy methods in addition to in-person sessions as appropriate.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, including experience with school-based caseloads and knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies. Candidates should either be a Clinical Fellow (CFY) or have completed their CFY, and possess skills in delivering services through teletherapy. The ability to adapt therapy techniques to a diverse caseload within a classroom setting is essential.
