Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting early childhood students near Lakeville, MN. This full-time role runs from ASAP through June 4, 2026, providing leave coverage for the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) SLP for the remainder of the school year, with the potential for some summer evaluations as well. Youll play a vital role in helping young learners build foundational communication skills in a supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in schools-based SLP practice
- Prior work with early childhood or ECSE populations is highly desirable
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work onsite at the assigned school location
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy as outlined in students IEPs for the ECSE caseload
- Conduct assessments and evaluations, including possible summer evaluations as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams
- Maintain thorough records and timely progress reporting in accordance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student support
- Stay current with best practices in pediatric and educational speech therapy
