This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to provide critical speech and language services across multiple school sites while covering various leaves through the end of the school year. You'll work on-site in an itinerant capacity and collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Previous experience in educational settings, particularly in school-based SLP roles
- Strong skills in evaluation, diagnosis, and development of intervention strategies for students from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and shifting assignments as needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapeutic services to students with speech and language needs
- Provide flexible coverage for multiple leave situations, adjusting to new assignments as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success through IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and strategy consultations
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding documentation and service delivery
- Travel between sites as required in an itinerant role, maintaining high-quality support at each location
