Job Description

Deliver speech-language pathology services in a dynamic K-12 school setting, supporting students with diverse communication needs through effective, evidence-based interventions. This assignment entails multiple leave coverages on an itinerant basis, providing a valuable opportunity to work directly with students across various grade levels within the school district.

Location: Lakeville, MN
Assignment Duration: As soon as possible through June 11, 2026
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, on-site

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring aligned with individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation of services and student progress in accordance with district policies.
  • Adapt services to meet the specific needs of diverse learners in an itinerant capacity, covering multiple classrooms or schools depending on assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings or school districts is highly desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adjust to varying schedules within the school day.
