Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Florida SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, open to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of educators, therapists, and families
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans as part of each students IEP
- Provide therapy for students with various speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Consult and collaborate regularly with teachers, counselors, and parents to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student goals and therapy progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations
- Offer support and resources to families and educational staff as needed
