A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services in an elementary school setting in Lakeland, FL. This role offers a flexible schedule, providing 20-28 hours per week across 3 to 4 days. The caseload focuses on K-5 elementary students at a single school location, offering the opportunity to impact young learners communication and speech development.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) License
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational and healthcare settings
- Familiarity with school-based caseload management and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and communication goals
- Provide therapy services aligned with students educational needs
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
