Empower students to discover their voices and make meaningful progress in their communication journey as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting pediatric learners. Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Skilled in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Comfortable with both in-person and digital documentation and reporting platforms
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to children from preschool through grade school
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop personalized therapy plans tailored to individual student needs and IEP requirements
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth and advocate for support services
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and guidance on communication goals
- Utilize a variety of materials and innovative strategies to engage diverse learners
