Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Illinois SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required for school-based practitioners
  • Previous experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is preferred
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services directly to students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Evaluate students speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized assessment tools
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with district and state regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies supporting students success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
