Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students across multiple schools in the vibrant West Palm Beach area. This on-site role is ideal for SLP-CCCs who thrive in dynamic educational settings and enjoy making a measurable difference in student communication abilities during the extended school year.

Youll be part of a collaborative team supporting students in elementary, secondary, and specialized PreK-12 environments. With multiple locations available, your schedule will be part-time (2026 hours weekly), Mondays through Thursdays, with varied daily hour blocks tailored to your assigned age group.

What Youll Need:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current, active Florida SLP license from the Department of Health
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Experience providing speech and language interventions in K-12 settings
  • Ability to complete fingerprinting and AHCA Clearinghouse verification, plus obtain a JLA badge (district requirement)
  • Successful completion of an internal eligibility and video interview
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Adaptability to serve at several locations based on district needs

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students with varying needs across elementary, secondary, or special education settings
  • Conduct assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists
  • Complete all required reports and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Attend meetings and contribute insights as part of a student-focused team
