Embark on an exciting opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This full-time, onsite contract position works with K-12 students in a dynamic and supportive educational setting. The role spans from August 2026 through May 2027, allowing candidates to make a significant impact on students communication and learning outcomes.
Key qualifications and expertise include:
- Active SLP license in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with school-aged children, K-12
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school support staff to develop and implement student therapy plans
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Core responsibilities for this position will involve:
- Providing speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions for a diverse range of students
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and maintaining accurate records and progress reports
- Coordinating and communicating student progress with educators and families
- Serving as a resource for teachers and administrators to promote inclusive classroom communication support
- Adapting therapy sessions to meet varied learning styles and developmental stages
