The district serves around 3,650 students and is dedicated to providing comprehensive speech-language services in a collaborative educational environment. This onsite-only role is open to travel professionals and offers the chance to make a real impact in the educational journey of students across varied age groups.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- California SLP licensure or eligibility
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to work effectively with caseloads spanning General Education to Moderate/Severe disabilities
What Youll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in grades TK-5 at the elementary school and 9-12 at the high school (Early College Campus)
- Manage a caseload of up to 60 students, with needs across a range of severity
- Administer speech, language, and communication assessments and collaborate on IEPs
- Develop individualized treatment plans, track student progress, and maintain all required documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support student success
Role Details:
- Contracted 37.5 hours per week, with full commitment to on-site services
