A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school in Lake Elsinore, CA. This on-site role offers a structured 7-hour workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, providing a balanced schedule to support both professional responsibilities and personal time.
Key qualifications and requirements include:
- Valid California SLP license
- Clear a Clear Teaching Credential (CTC) is required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is desirable
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing speech and language assessments and interventions to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Managing an average caseload, with specific details to be discussed during the interview
