Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 8th grade during the Extended School Year (ESY) period. Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Illinois SLP license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience with school-aged populations, particularly serving PreK through 8th grade
  • Familiarity with ESY (Extended School Year) programs a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in PreK8th grade during the ESY program
  • Assess and document student progress toward IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Provide therapy sessions for 12 hours per week from June 10th, 2026, through June 2nd, 2026
  • Develop and implement effective, personalized intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records in accordance with school district policies and state requirements
