Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 8th grade during the Extended School Year (ESY) period. This position, based near Lake Bluff, IL, offers the chance to make a genuine impact in a school setting by providing critical speech-language services. Youll collaborate with educators and families, helping students develop essential communication skills that support their academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois SLP license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience with school-aged populations, particularly serving PreK through 8th grade
- Familiarity with ESY (Extended School Year) programs a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in PreK8th grade during the ESY program
- Assess and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Provide therapy sessions for 12 hours per week from June 10th, 2026, through June 2nd, 2026
- Develop and implement effective, personalized intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in accordance with school district policies and state requirements
