Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs considered
- Experience in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring to support student development
- Develop and implement engaging interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as an essential team member
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Foster an encouraging learning environment that celebrates student achievements
