Job Description
Embark on a meaningful assignment as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting elementary-aged students across one to two school sites in the La Vista area. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a difference in young lives during the 2026-2027 academic year, providing specialized services onsite within a collaborative educational environment.
Youll manage a caseload of approximately 40-60 elementary students, partnering with teachers, families, and other professionals to enhance students communication skills and success in the classroom. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current and valid Nebraska SLP license
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to support students across multiple elementary school locations
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
Provide direct speech-language therapy services
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster student progress
Monitor, evaluate, and document student outcomes in accordance with school and legal guidelines
Travel between assigned elementary sites as necessary
