Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Texas SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong Clinical Fellows will also be considered
  • Experience working with school-age children, including those with a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, based on evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and progress documentation
  • Provide direct therapy, both individually and in group settings
  • Attend IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute expertise
  • Consult and offer strategies to educational staff to support classroom communication
