Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to work with K-12 students in the greater La Quinta area. Your expertise will help students communicate more effectively and participate fully in their education.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid California SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Comfort working onsite and engaging with students, families, and educational staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and service goals in line with IEP requirements
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student progress
  • Monitor, record, and report student progress through documentation and meetings
  • Offer guidance on augmentative communication, accommodations, and classroom strategies
