Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Indiana SLP license
  • DOE Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Prior experience or ability to supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Commitment to supporting young learners communication development in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language services to Early Childhood/Pre-K students, designing and implementing IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to an SLPA, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other support staff to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain timely documentation and progress reports in alignment with district and state requirements
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school activities to support the overall mission of the program
