As part of a welcoming team near La Grange, IL, youll utilize your clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in a diverse student population. What Were Looking For:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) eligibility
- Experience providing speech-language services to children or school-age populations
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Enthusiasm for building relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
What Youll Do:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Provide direct therapeutic services addressing a range of speech and language challenges
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Engage with teachers and support staff to promote language-rich learning environments
- Educate families and caregivers, offering strategies for communication success at home
