Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
  • Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations welcomed
  • Strong communication skills with staff, students, and caregivers
  • Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans

Your Typical Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for a diverse group of learners
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and school administrators to support students academic and social development
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Engage families in the therapy process and provide resources for continued growth at home
