Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations welcomed
- Strong communication skills with staff, students, and caregivers
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
Your Typical Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for a diverse group of learners
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and school administrators to support students academic and social development
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Engage families in the therapy process and provide resources for continued growth at home
