Job Description
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026/2027 school year with a 0.4 FTE need, supporting students in an educational setting in La Conner, WA. This role offers travel opportunities, providing services across multiple locations and enhancing professional experience within diverse school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student communication development.
- Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Implement evidence-based teletherapy when appropriate to meet student needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible to obtain CCC.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school and healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with Current Procedures in teletherapy delivery.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel as part of the assignment.
