Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically in early childhood (Pre K, Kindergarten, and Pre-School) through high school (Grades 9-12)
  • Familiarity with school environments, including elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Previous travel or contract experience in educational settings is a plus but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and provide therapy services to students with diverse speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student success
  • Document and track student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate records per school and legal standards
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for eligibility, evaluation, and ongoing support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
