Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Make a difference with PreK and Kindergarten students, with a focused caseload of 25-35, in an engaging and collaborative onsite environment. School-year dates span from August 20, 2026, to June 4, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP license (or eligibility to secure California licensureout-of-state applicants welcome if willing to obtain CA credentials)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for working with early childhood populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK and Kindergarten students
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized education programs (IEPs) as appropriate
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress toward goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Follow all compliance protocols for school-based SLP services
