Job Description

Located in Klamath, CA, this full-time position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to work within a school setting. The role involves providing direct therapy, participating in IEP meetings, writing IEPs, and conducting testing and assessments for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families through IEP meetings to develop appropriate educational plans
  • Write thorough and compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Administer assessments and evaluate speech and language skills in the student population
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
