This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatrics within a school setting located in Kingston, NY. The position is offered on a contract basis, providing a chance to apply your expertise in speech and language development to support students' communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by educational and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school environment
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders in children
- Ability to work effectively within an educational multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
