Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in pediatric and school (K-12) settings, especially with high school-aged students
  • Familiarity with crafting and implementing IEPs
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse learning needs and backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services tailored to high school students
  • Conduct assessments, develop goals, and document progress in accordance with state requirements
  • Participate actively in IEP and team meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Maintain detailed records, ensuring compliance with district and legal guidelines
  • Serve as a resource to teachers and staff, supporting communication strategies in the classroom
