This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in working part-time with a small, manageable caseload in a supportive setting near Kingsford, MI. With a flexible start as soon as possible through June, youll provide vital services to Head Start/ECSE students and collaborate with dedicated educational teams.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan SLP license required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood development and a passion for helping young children communicate
• Ability to adapt therapy to individual needs and collaborate with teachers and families

In this role, you will:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to a very small caseload, focusing on early intervention
• Assess, plan, and document individualized goals and progress for each student
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary teams support strategies
• Communicate therapy objectives and progress to families and staff
• Serve 68 hours per week (potential for slight increase, based on caseload review)
• Provide direct service in Head Start/ECSE classrooms, ages 35
