Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) are needed for contract positions in a school district located in King City, CA. This opportunity involves a full-time schedule, working five days a week for 37.5 hours, primarily serving a caseload of approximately 45-50 students across multiple school sites. The role focuses on providing speech and language therapy to school-aged children, requiring a strong commitment to pediatric care within an educational setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to manage caseloads of 45-50 students
- CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) candidates welcome
- Familiarity with healthcare and educational settings is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Provide services in compliance with state and district guidelines
