This full-time contract role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a year-long position with the potential to extend or transition into a permanent role. Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or equivalent state licensure.
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric settings, especially school-based practice.
- Skilled in supporting children with mild to moderate speech and language needs, including reading, writing delays, articulation challenges, and social communication differences.
- Comfortable working with high-functioning autism; able to individualize interventions.
- Familiarity with school documentation, including oversight of assessments, evaluations, and developing measurable IEP goals.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for pediatric clients.
- Provide direct, individualized speech therapy sessions; no group work required.
- Address a variety of pediatric speech and language concerns, such as pragmatics, receptive/expressive language, reading and writing skills, and articulation.
- Collaborate with educational teams and participate in IEP meetings to advocate for student needs.
- Maintain ongoing communication with families to support progress and consistent care planning.
