Located in the beautiful Key Largo, FL area, this one-year contract opportunity offers a rewarding experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a K-12 school setting and a pediatric outpatient clinic. The role focuses on providing individualized therapy for children aged 2 to 18, primarily addressing mild to moderate speech and language delays without medically fragile cases.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, evaluations, and direct therapy sessions with a caseload consisting mainly of high-functioning autism, pragmatic language challenges, receptive-expressive language delays, articulation disorders, and difficulties with reading and writing. Additionally, the therapist will actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to ensure tailored support for each students unique needs.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in outpatient clinical or school settings
• Familiarity with a variety of speech and language disorders including autism spectrum disorders and pragmatic language impairments
• Ability to manage assessments, therapy planning, implementation, and IEP documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or required as applicable
