Fuel student success and make a real difference in the school community near Kerman, CA as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals ready to deliver dedicated onsite services full-time, with opportunities for both SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellows (CFs).
This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced facilitators and provide crucial support for a caseload of 60-65 students, including 25-30 students focused solely on speech. You may also have SLPA support. Candidates with a passion for supervision are encouraged to apply, as prior experience overseeing SLPAs with facilitators is valued.
Key qualifications:
- Hold current SLP - CCC certification or be an SLP-CF; SLPAs will not be considered
- At least 2 years of experience in California school settings
- Minimum 1 year of direct SEIS experience
- Strong track record managing high-volume caseloads and referrals
- Bilingual abilities are highly welcome
- Willingness to work fully onsite
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy in a school setting
- Collaborate with educators, facilitators, and team members to support student IEPs
- Maintain detailed documentation in SEIS and related platforms
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs as applicable
- Efficiently handle a busy referral and caseload environment
